What a great story of new love .I almost forgot what it felt like to be young and in love but this book brought it all back....
Loved these 2 characters luke and Aidan what a match .
Loved the story idea, liked the characters. The writing was a little amateurish, especially when it came to descriptions. Was a little frustrated with how the savage plot-twist was left with almost a blasé sum-up. Will definitely try another book though.
The story kine is basically simple and sweet for 90% of the book. I'm not sure I understand the significance of the attack at the end unless the author just feels that gays should be punished? It adds nothing to the story and the story ends immediately after with their recovery, with no resolution for the violence.
This book was very immature. It started out ok, but then it started getting a bit ridiculous. Both guys throwing up at almost everything, including seen the other one "come???" Just skimmed the book after that and it didn't get any better. Oh, yeah, the end..."maybe next time I'll even be able to swallow." This after over 200 pages. Wasted reading.
Super Sweet New Adult Romance. Super sweet. I love the setting and Luke and Aiden are really kind and fun to watch fall for each other.Â
The cast is great. This is a quick read with very mellow plot until something happens towards the end of the book. I would have liked more time after this event but we do get a lot more of these heros in the next two books in the series. (I read the series backwards like I do lol)
Aiden has a weak stomach which some readers found annoying but I like this little twist. The stuff with his mom was less believable, I kept waiting for them to discover there was some wrong with her like a brain tumor making her act so off.Â
I love that Luke wants to be come a child care worker.

This is the type of book I love to read. I'm not talking about the genre, but how it's written. From the first page Susan yanked me into the story and held me captive until she was through with me and kicked me out with a warm, fuzzy, and thoroughly happy feeling. I couldn't put it down because I HAD to know what was going to happen next. The book is a wonderful 'falling in love' story with two young men who were attracted from first sight.
Watching Aiden grow into who he could be as a gay man was wonderful and Luke was so sweet and sexy, too helping Aiden discover the things he longed to know.
If you, dear reader, want to read a book about young love and the boys growing into that love, this is the book for you. Well written? Yes. Characters well developed? Yes. Am I going to check out her other books? Oh, heck yes! You should read this, too.
If you're wondering, it's not an erotic book, and there's little to no angst.
I enjoyed getting to know Luke and Aidan. Young love is the best. I laughed and I cried as their journey unfolded. Susan Teeves is so very talented and I can't wait for her next book! Bravo sweets!

This is a heartwarming love story of two boys from different shires who discover not only a strong bond with each other but also where they fit in their own lives. It’s a rocky road at times, full of uncertainties and insecurities. Patience and time allow for them to grow and true love allows them to overcome adversity and pain. I loved getting involved in Luke and Aiden’s journey. It was emotional, funny and heartwarming. Susan, you rock! Five loving stars all the way, my dear!
